Future Electronics and Fairchild Semiconductor Hosting Webinar

Montreal, Canada – May 9, 2016 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components founded in 1968 by Robert Miller, and Fairchild Semiconductor are offering an informational webinar on Wednesday, May 11th at 2 pm Eastern time.

This one-hour webinar will explain how Fairchild Semiconductor and Future Electronics can help streamline switch-mode power supply designs. Fairchild’s green mode power switch solutions help to achieve high power density, high reliability, low standby power, and low solution cost. These are crucial factors for many isolated and non-isolated SMPS applications including motor control, smart metering, and industrial auxiliary power supplies. Fairchild’s highly integrated green mode power switches are developed to address all of these factors.

Topology configurations, practical design procedures and guidelines for these applications will be discussed, along with an overview of how the FSL306, FSL336 and FSL4110 device features reduce system design complexity, including integrated support for up to 1000V designs. To further cut design iteration and design-to-production time, Fairchild’s Power Supply WebDesigner™, a web-based design tool, is introduced at the end of the presentation to offer power designers a fast and easy way to finish their power system design in only a few minutes.

After attending the webinar, participants will have a better understanding of offline SMPS challenges, technical/topological trade-offs, will gain confidence in selecting the right part/topology, and will be able to complete a FSL306/336 or FSL4110 power supply design within minutes.

In addition, all webinar attendees will qualify for an opportunity to receive an FSL306 or FSL4110 evaluation board.
