This laboratory based analog power supply design workshop will be held from June 6-9, 2017, providing an in-depth look at the design of modern, stable and robust switch mode power supplies. The workshop is aimed at design engineers who need to design and/or troubleshoot modern high performance power supplies.
Participants may elect to attend for 3 days or 4 days, starting Tuesday, June 6th through Thursday, June 8th, with Friday, June 9th as an optional fourth day offering additional labs on step-by-step Analog PFC design and testing.
The workshop addresses first principles and explores the fundamentals of switching power supply design covering Bode plots and control theory. Everything is supported with hands-on labs and participants will walk away with a confident understanding of stable compensator design for both voltage mode control and current mode control.
