NICHIA New 319A Product Series Available Through Future Lighting Solutions

Montreal, Quebec, January 6, 2017 – NICHIA Corporation, a leader in LED technology, has officially launched their new 319A high power LED product series.  The 319A series is available through Nichia Sales Offices, Future Lighting Solutions (FLS), a world-class leader and innovator in the distribution and marketing of solid-state lighting technologies, and other partner distributors.

The 319A series features the highest efficacy 3W power package with a nominal forward current of 1050mA. It incorporates new cutting edge die technology to maximize light density under the LED dome. The 319A will also enable differentiated luminaire form factor designs because the LM-80 data support drive currents of 1200mA at an in-situ temperature of 120°C to minimize the LED count as well as the size and shape of the thermal solution. Key applications include outdoor, area, downlight, spot and high bay lighting.

“With a single LED platform, lighting manufacturers can create a wide range of innovative luminaires with peace of mind,” said Erik Swenson, General Manager, North America, Nichia. “The 319A is also footprint compatible with the existing 219C family to increase options from existing designs,” added Swenson.
